At this point it is merely a rumour that outlandish star Lady Gaga is launching a fashion line with her sister, but as someone who is known just as much for her extravagant costumes and choices in clothes, it would come as no surprise if she were to branch out and bring her own unique style to the masses.

Anyone wondering just what indeed a Lady Gaga fashion line would entail, trying to imagine if they could pull off a dress made entirely of slabs of meat on the school run, need not worry as the reported line is being described as ‘relatively normal and wearable’ which is always helpful when aiming at customers outside the fashion world where people are slightly more hesitant to wear anything which will make them stand out too much.

A source close to Lady Gaga has described the line as being a remodelling of such style icons as Grace Kelly, Katherine Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe. This is a far cry from what most people would be expecting from a range launched by the star. In fact, many have already commented that Lady Gaga herself has been scaling back the crazy outfits and seems to be ready to launch the latest look in her career, sporting more understated clothes and going more for classic fashion than designs produced mostly for their shock value.

Over the past decade or so many clothing brands are looking to associate themselves with different music scenes which fit their brand style in an effort to increase notoriety and its working; one such brand is British clothing label Gio Goi.

Gio Goi has its roots in Manchester and was linked a lot with the band scene in the 80’s which mixed indie rock and dance music. Unfortunately after a legal battle with designer Giorgio Armani over the use of Gio branding the company decided to end production.

Luckily in 2005 new financial backers were keen to revive the brand and their association with the music scene, and several musicians and actors. Gio Goi now works heavily with the club scene especially in venues in Ibiza as well as numerous venues across the UK. They also work closely with artists such as Plan B, Chase and Status, Tiesto and DeadMau5 providing sponsorship for their gigs.

Gio Goi is not just about the music though they still have a huge creative presence in the fashion field and although their clothing may not feature the latest fashions it is a style their fans know and love. Offering brightly printed t-shirts, everyday shorts, trousers and jeans as well as funky accessories in their stand out style.

If you going to a festival this summer, one thing you shouldn’t forget is your band t-shirts, so when they are playing you can show your allegiance. If though like me you like to keep your expensive t-shirts in good nick to keep for prosperity then maybe you should look at creating your own with t shirt printing.

It’s not that hard to come up with your own design, you can even design it in relation to which ever festival/gig you’re going to. T-shirt printing is also not that expensive, online printing company, Adlogo offers a wide range of clothing which can be printed onto at low prices. Plus they use a wide range of printing methods, so you should find something suitable for your design.

At least when you’re at the front singing along to your favourite song you will be safe in the knowledge whatever liquid just hit you back won’t be ruining your favourite and expensive band t-shirt!

When I go to a concert I like to show my support for the band/group/singer by wearing one of their t-shirts, however the cost of buying official t-shirts is increasing, so much so, some end up costing more than the actual gig. I have therefore decided that I will use t shirt printing to make my own personal t-shirt to show support for whoever I am watching, at a fraction of the cost.

It’s great because I can choose what picture I like or design, and have it printed onto a t-shirt that is just the right fit for me. There are many printing companies that offer this service online, such as Splash Logo, who offer a wide range of clothing that can have your design printed onto, such as t-shirts, hoodies, vest tops, baseball hats and bags.

Festivals are now big business, with more and more people enjoying these event’s many clothes shops are now picking up on it and selecting ranges of clothing and accessories for festivals, many based on what celebs have been seen in recently. This season there are many different trends to pick up on for your festival wear this season, so no matter what your style is you should find something to suit.

Fashion clothing aside just a minute there are some essentials that you need to consider taking, these include waterproofs, wellingtons and spare clothing if you are caught out in a shower, jumpers, hoodies and cardigans just in case it turns chilly and if you’re lucky enough to enjoy the sun make sure you have plenty of sun tan lotion.

Shorts, skirts and playsuits are a fashionable yet practical option, they are much better than wearing jeans or trousers, if you get caught in some rain, your legs will dry quicker than jeans will, they are also great for keeping cool and if the temperature drops at night you can pop some leggings on underneath for some warmth.

Hats and sunglasses are essential festival accessories, especially if it’s sunny, as well as plenty of bangles and beads to give a fresh look to an outfit, but you are better off not taking anything too expensive, as festivals are not the safest of places for our prized possessions!

If you’re planning on going to a festival this summer or just believe in the cause join in the revolution and get a Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) t-shirt to show your support. Many celebrities, artists and DJ’s have already lent their support and LMHR is set to create a national movement against racism with the support of music and fashion.

Love Music Hate Racism was set up in 2002 in response to the rising levels of racism and the electoral successes for the British National Party (BNP). Through their use of the music scene LMHR has celebrated diversity and have involved people in anti-racist and anti-fascist activity.

LMHR has hosted many events which include large festivals, local gigs and club nights with many top performing artists. If you want to shoe your support for Love Music Hate Racism you can buy their t-shirts online in a range of bright colours.

Word on the street is that Victoria Beckham is rumoured to be designing outfits for Beyonce’s upcoming tour, the sexy singer revealed she is a fan of the fashionista’s fabulous designs and has reportedly contacted Ms Beckham personally to discuss the possibility of a collaboration after Victoria’s latest collection was revealed to fashion editors in London.

An insider has told the mirror that: “Beyonce is a big fan of Victoria’s work, and was given a couple of samples from the new collection – including some sunglasses which she has been wearing at any given opportunity, and ‘Victoria was flattered and has agreed, in principle, to suggest some designs. ‘While Beyonce already has the sunnies and a few dresses, it is Victoria’s more elegant full-length designs that she particularly loves as they are a real departure from her usual glitzy stage costumes,” the source continued. “This collaboration could be the start of something big.”

Victoria Beckham’s designs are also popular with other A-list celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow.
