It has been revealed that the next collection by Kate Moss for Topshop will be her last after four years working with the company. It’s thought that her departure was amicable despite rumours suggesting she had fallen out with billionaire owner Sir Phillip Green or that she had been kicked out to make way for his 19 year old daughter Chloe.

Sir Philip Green stated “There have been no dramas and we don’t need a new muse. There is only one Kate and we are not looking for a replacement,” he explained. “Kate has done 14 collections with us. It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her, but they take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time anymore because she has other commitments.”

Although there is speculation that his daughter Chloe will be taking over from Kate, Sir Philip said: “We have a change in the direction of our business with Kate, but that has absolutely nothing to do with my daughter.”

He also insisted that his daughter will have to start at the bottom and work her way up before ever being considered for such a position as what Kate Moss held there.
